Integrated design.
We worked on integrating the rocker and shock to lower the centre of gravity and provide better manoeuvrability and stability. The width of the bottom bracket has been optimised for maximum rigidity. We also reduced strain on the main axis of rotation for enhanced concentric effort.
VR/LR kinematics.
VR: Virtual rotation point to facilitate pedalling at the beginning of a race and shock absorption at the end. LR: Progressive leverage ratio which keeps the bike consistently stable.
160 mm travel at the front and 155 at the rear. Plus, a 29er is ideal for pedalling performance.
Carbon frame.
The frames of our Kern EN Enduro MTBs are Toray® T800 (80%) / T900 (20%) HM/HR carbon fibre monocoques.
