MOTORIZATION
SHIMANO EP8
The Shimano EP8 motor is particularly compact and powerful with its 85Nm of torque. Moreover, weighing in at just 2.6kg, this motor sets the standard in the sporty eMTB market. It’s paired with an integrated 630Wh battery, providing a range of up to 130km.
INTEGRATION
ENDURO
Based on our enduro chassis in terms of geometry and kinematics, the Kern EL can tackle all types of terrain. We’ve also integrated the battery to lower and centralize the mass, offering improved handling and stability.
MULLET

The Kern EL is designed for a “mullet” setup, meaning a 29″ front wheel and a 27.5″ rear wheel. The advantage lies in the precise handling and obstacle clearance offered by the 29″ front wheel, and the traction and grip of the larger 27.5″ rear tire, which effectively transfers the engine’s power to the ground.
